Six Sigma Black Belt
Certificate Program

Become a leader in process and quality improvement

Are you ready to lead and support Lean Six Sigma problem-solving teams in measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling processes critical to both customer satisfaction and profitability?  As a Black Belt, you will gain the skills in quality improvement systems and tools to drive the project to completion.

This course includes all the modules in the Lean Six Sigma Basics, Lean Basics, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Statistics, plus 5 ASQ SSBB Test Prep Courses which assist Black Belt professionals in assessing their level of knowledge using topics covered in the American Society for Quality's Body of Knowledge.  

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course is designed for middle managers, process owners, or anyone wanting to learn the Six Sigma fundamental skills to impact their process. To greater optimize the learning experience, the course utilizes blended learning combining the best of both online and classroom training.

Course will provide portal access to online course modules, downloadable guides for modules, Participant Workbook for classroom, and other preparation materials. *Course requires participant purchase Mini Tab Software.

Instructor:
Kevin Clay is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and brings over 15 years of operational experience into the classroom. He has a wide range of Lean Six Sigma project experience in industries such as manufacturing, food processing, residential and commercial construction, banking, healthcare, etc.  Kevin has a B.S in Industrial Technology and an M.S. in Manufacturing Technology and Management from East Carolina University.  At TU, Kevin teaches both the Green and Black Belt Certification classes, as well as Minitab.
