Business Etiquette
Today the business world is a fast
paced global community. And, despite the ever-important need of
technical acumen, the need for "soft skills" has become even more
apparent. Research conducted by Harvard University, The Carnegie
Foundation and The Stanford Research Institute show that technical
skills and knowledge account for only 15% of getting, retaining and
advancing in a job. However, 85% of job success is directly
connected to an individual's "soft skills" knowledge and ability.
In this seminar you will learn practical ideas and strategies that will
help you present a more professional image, as well as, enable you to
move with ease and confidence on any level in the business arena.
This six-hour seminar covers various forms of business
etiquette:
-
Critical first impressions
-
Professionalism in the workplace
-
Key elements for effective
communication
-
Techno etiquette
-
The art of business dining and
entertaining
But the class is not like mom scolding you for your poor
manners. Information is presented in a relaxed style that cuts to the
heart of today’s etiquette concerns. You can practice what you
learn at a soup and salad lunch.
Build your confidence by knowing the right etiquette.
Participants will learn to:
-
Demonstrate the different levels
and components of proper introductions
-
Recognize how to make a powerful,
positive impression
-
Present and receive business
cards with proper protocol

functions of business dining and entertaining
